Dog and Puppy Care

We have been clients for the past 4 years. We have 6 Basset Hounds and of all the vets we have used over the years, none are better and few are as good as Dr. Costello and Swoboda. No one, and I mean no one, in the area gets to take care of our dogs other than Harvard Veterinary Clinic. Both of the Docs combine cutting edge science with good old fashioned common sense vet care. They legitimately care about their canine and human clients and go the extra mile every time to provide top notch care. The techs and office staff are second to none. The Doctor and staff are direct and honest and will make recommendations for care that are in you and your animal’s best interest, not just ones that will run up a bill and not change the outcome.

The bottom line is this- if you care about your animals and you want the best care possible in Northern Illinois then you really have only one choice and that is the Harvard Veterinary Clinic. This is a clinic that should be the standard by which all others operate.

We have brought our cats to Harvard Veterinary Clinic for years and the service and warmth they give to our pets and to us is amazing. Imaging Equipment On-Site

These guys are two of the best doctors around! If you need an accurate diagnosis they have ultrasound and x-ray available! They’ve always taken such good care of my animals and treated them as their own. Definitely worth looking into if you’re a new client!

Cat and Kitten Care

What can I say…..the staff of Harvard Vet clinic are the BEST! Dr Costello and Dr Svoboda know how to deal with the smallest pet…up to your horse or cow! The entire staff is compassionate and give you 110% if that is what you need. I no longer live in Harvard, but I travel 30 min to bring my pets to them, because I know they will get the best care. They have saved the life of more than one of my cats. LOVE them!
